Timekeeper Reporting
Utilizing Timekeeper Reporting helps keep managers in the loop regarding employee time punches, serviced locations, and payroll.
These reports are listed under Reports > Time.
Timecard
The Timecard Report shows scheduled and unscheduled punches, comparing actual and scheduled in/out times.
Data can be filtered, sorted, printed, and exported as a spreadsheet. Editing a time punch using the Edit Pencil in the Actions column will create an Audit Log entry.
Clicking the Location Pin shows where the employee clocked in and out in relation to the geofence.
If Geofence Tracking is enabled, selecting the Location Pin will show where employees went during their shift. Hovering over the pins on the map will show more information.
- Orange Pins - The corners/vertices of the geofence.
- Numbered Blue Pins - Where the employee was when GPS Tracking took their location. This is based on the GPS interval.
- Blue/Red Path and Circle Marker - The blue/red path connecting the pins is the trail that the employee took during their shift. The circular marker travels between the pins in order.
Clock In/Out Sources
The time entry's source is tagged beneath the Actual In/Out timestamp.
- Call In - Made using the Call-In system.
- FR - Made using Facial Recognition.
- iPulse - Created from iPulse.
- Kiosk - Made using the Kiosk mode on JM Connect.
- Manager - Created by a Manager using Who's Working on JM Connect.
- Manual - Created using the 'Forgot to Clock In/Out' function on JM Connect.
- NFC - Made from an NFC tap.
- Offline QR Scan - Made from an offline QR Code.
- QR Scan - Made from a QR Code.
- Standard - Made from the Timeclock on JM Connect.
- System - Created from the Auto-Timecard setting.
- Team - Created from a Team Schedule punch.
- Web Entry - Made from the web (Timecard or Clock In/Out).
Audit Log
Any time punches that have been edited on the website by a Manager in either the Timecard or the Clock In/Clock Out report will display an eye icon in the Actions column. Clicking on the eye icon will show any edits that have been made to the entry, what changes were made, who made them, and when.
Viewing the full Audit Log Report will display additional information, including the Notes and editing Source. This report can be printed as a PDF or exported as a spreadsheet.
Express Report
The Express Report displays employee time punch and break information. This includes the actual in/out times, scheduled in/out times, pay rate, job class, and total break time per shift. This report can be exported to a spreadsheet.
Daily Timecard Activity
The Daily Timecard Activity Report shows the timekeeping activity for each employee for the single date selected in the Date field. This includes the clock in/out punches per location, Travel Distance and Time, and total accumulated hours for the day.
Timecard with Pay Rate
The Timecard with Pay Rate Report shows time punches for employees and includes the Pay Rate and Pay amount associated with each shift. This report includes pending time punches.
Pay Amount = Duration x Pay Rate
In Between Travel
The In Between Travel Report shows time traveled between a source location to a destination location. Time entries must meet the Travel Time setting requirements to appear on this report.

Clock In/Clock Out
The Clock In/Clock Out Report displays all clock in and clock out time punches as separate line items. This report includes the following information:
- The employee's Location at the time of the punch, according to their device's location settings, in relation to the location's geofence.

If it was an 'In' punch or 'Out' punch, and how it was entered into the report.

If the punch was Manual:
- Web - A supervisor entered a manual entry by using the +Add Time Entry button on this page or the Timecard Report.
- Mobile - The employee chose the 'Forgot to Clock In/Out' button(s) on JM Connect and manually entered the In or Out time.
- Call-In - The employee used the Call-in option, but the phone number they called from did not match the Timekeeper phone number saved on the Location Maintenance screen.
- If the punch was Automatic:
- Mobile - The employee chose the 'Clock In/Out' button(s) on JM Connect when they entered or left the location.
- Call-In - The employee used the Call-in option and the phone number they called from matched the Timekeeper phone number on the Location Maintenance screen.

If the punch was Manual:
This report can be sorted, filtered, and exported as a spreadsheet.
Actual vs. Budget
The Actual vs. Budget Report compares a location's labor hours to its monthly budget.
- Budgeted Hours - The location's Budgeted Monthly Hours.
- Actual Hours - Pulled from time punches logged within the selected date range.
Actual vs. Budget Cost
The Actual vs. Budget Cost Report compares a location's labor costs to its monthly or weekly budget.
- Budgeted Cost - The location's Rate (monthly budgeted labor cost) or Budgeted Weekly Labor Cost.
- Actual Cost - Pulled from time punches logged within the selected date range.
To set the weekly and monthly budget for a location:
- Go to Customers > Manage Locations.
- Click the Edit Pencil for a location.
- In the Budget Information section, edit the Rate (Budgeted Monthly Labor Cost) and/or Budgeted Weekly Labor Cost.
- Save the page to confirm changes.
Actual vs. Schedule
The Actual vs. Schedule Report displays the time the shift was scheduled and compares it to the actual time punch. It will also include a message in the Errors section explaining if there was a No Show, Unscheduled Attendance, Late Departure, etc.
No Coverage
This report compares the number of actual clock-ins versus the number scheduled. Alerts are also available if a location was completed missed. The alert will be sent to Managers marked as Trained on the location at the end of the defined 'day'.
- Only locations that had scheduled shifts will appear on this report.

After the 'day' you defined on the location is over, the report will show if any locations were missed by comparing the number of clock-ins to the number scheduled.
- Red (0%) - No employees clocked in for scheduled shifts.
- Yellow (x%) - Some of the employees clocked in for scheduled shifts.
- Green (100%) - All employees clocked in for scheduled shifts.
- Click the arrow on the left to see which employees clocked in and when.
- If the employee who clocked in is not the employee on the schedule, it will still register that someone clocked in to cover the location, and the location will not appear as missed.
Location Coverage Status
This report displays all locations in live time, whether they have scheduled shifts or not. It can be used to see which locations have been missed. Use the Display dropdown to choose how far back you want to see. The Window column shows what the 'day' is defined as for the location.
- Red (0%) - No one showed up for any scheduled shifts yet
- Yellow (x%) - Some of the employees showed up but not all
- Green (100%) - All employees showed up
Location Services By Employee - Detail
The Location Services By Employee (Detail) Report displays time information by employee. This includes the location, in and out times, budgeted hours, and budget variance. This report can be printed or exported as a spreadsheet.
Location Services Report - Summary
The Locations Services (Summary) Report displays time information by location. This includes the date, employee name, hours worked, total hours (per day), budgeted hours, and budget variance. This report can be printed or exported as a spreadsheet.

FAQ
Question: Do the Actual vs. Budget Reports include flat/fixed rates?
Answer: Yes, fixed rates are factored into labor costs.
Question: Why can I not see the geofence when viewing some time punches?
Answer: Manual time punches to do not show the geofence. If you cannot see the geofence for an Automatic time punch, confirm that the geofence was correct saved and not reset.
