FAQ
Question: I confirmed where my employee was at a certain time, why does the GPS Pin show them somewhere else/nearby?
Answer: GPS Tracking relies on the device's GPS to locate the employee. Since GPS location is determined by satellite signal, it is not uncommon to have a margin for inaccuracies. If the GPS pin is greatly incorrect, ensure that Precise Location is enabled on the user's device.
Whenever a user's GPS signal is recorded on a device, it is important to remember that the pin is an approximation.
Question: My GPS Capture interval is set to 1 minute. Why is my employee's location not being recorded?
Answer: The GPS Capture Interval needs to be at least set to 5 minutes. Janitorial Manager recommends setting the interval to at least 15 minutes to optimize the feature.
