Adding New Schedules
- From the portal site, navigate to Customers > Manage Schedule.
- From the Schedule subtab, select + Add Schedule.
- Fill in the information, then select Save Draft or Publish.
- Save Draft - Schedule drafts are not visible to employees. Any notifications regarding the schedule will be inactive until the schedule is manually published.
- Publish - Published schedules are visible to employees on JM Connect, and are added to the Schedule Dashboards.
General
- Customer and Location - The location where the schedule will take place.
- Start and End Time - The employee's start and end time at the location.
- Notes - Any notes related to the schedule. These notes are currently only visible from the portal site.
- Duration (Hours) - The duration of the schedule, based on the start and end times.
- Schedule Type - Individual, Open, or Team.
- Employee - At least one or more employees must be added to Individual or Team schedules. Any employees listed will receive notifications regarding the schedule and can view the schedule from JM Connect. Only employees trained on the location can be added to the schedule.
The Job Class listed on the employee's schedule is used when clocking in from JM Connect.
Advanced
- Auto Clock-out (Hours) - If enabled, the employee will automatically be clocked out if their clock-in duration reaches this value. The Auto Clock-out value must be greater than or equal to the scheduled duration.
This is useful for employees who forget to clock out.
Ex. An employee is scheduled from 9 AM to 5 PM (8 hours). Auto Clock In is enabled and set to 9 hours.
They clocked in at 9 AM. At 6 PM, the employee would be automatically clocked out. - Flat Rate - If enabled, the employee will be paid the fixed value ($) instead of their hourly wage. This wage will be applied as long as the employee clocks into the schedule.
- Late In Alert (Minutes) - If the employee clocks in this many minutes after the start of their scheduled shift, managers trained at the location will receive a notification on JM Connect.
- Late Out Alert (Minutes) - If the employee clocks out this many minutes before the end of the scheduled shift, managers trained at the location will receive a notification on JM Connect.
- Break Rules - The break associated with the schedule. Only one break rule can be added.
Area
This tab is only relevant for accounts using Area or Employee Scan (QR Codes/NFCs).
- Scan Type, Area Scan - Areas that belong to the location can be assigned to the schedule. Once added, employees will be prompted to scan the selected areas after they clock in from JM Connect.
- Scan Type, Work Template Scan - Work Templates added to areas at the location can be assigned to the schedule. Once added, employees will be prompted to scan the selected areas after they clock in from JM Connect.
