QR Codes can be made Public, allowing customers or members of the general public to access information when scanning QR Codes.

Areas Status
Creating Area Status Codes
- From the desktop site, go to Customers > Manage Locations.
- Click the Edit Pencil in the Actions column for the desired Location.
- Click the Area subtab, then +Add Area.
- Add the required information.
- Select Enable Public Scan, then choose Area Status for Scan Type.
- Click Save to create the QR Code.
What Users See

If JM Connect users scan the code, they will be able to see and complete a task list. This may look different depending on if you are using Employee or Location scan. When employees complete tasks on QR Codes using JM Connect, the public Area Status page will update as well. |

If someone scans the same QR Code with their device's camera, they will be able to view the Area Status. Area Status opens on the device's web browser. This page can be translated into Spanish or French.

Feedback
Creating Feedback Codes
- Go to Customers > Manage Locations.
- Click the Edit Pencil in the Actions column for a location.
- Open the Area subtab, then click +Add Area.
- Add the required information.
- Enable Enable Public Scan, then choose Feedback for Scan Type.
- Click Save to create the QR Code.
What Users See

When users scan a Feedback QR Code with their device's camera, they will be directed to a page on their web browser. From there, users will be able to select a 1 to 5 rating and leave a message (1000 character limit). Optionally, users can upload images. This page can be translated into Spanish or French.

Feedback Notifications
If Push/Email Notification is enabled on the Area, trained managers will receive an Alert on JM Connect letting them know that new feedback was received.
Email notifications will be sent to the location's Notification Recipient(s). The email includes the feedback's timestamp, customer name, location name, area name, rating, and comments. Any uploaded images will be visible in the body of the email.
To add recipients:
- Go to Customers > Manage Locations.
- Click the Edit Pencil for the desired Location.
- Add an email address for the Primary Email Address. A Secondary Email Address can be added as well. To add multiple, separate each email address with a comma.
- The same email address cannot be used for both the Primary and Secondary address fields.
- Any images uploaded using Feedback QR Codes will be attached to the email.
Feedback Reports
Area Feedback
Reports > Public Scan Reports > Area Feedback Report
This report shows feedback details (date, score, comment, and device type) for active areas. Attached images can be viewed in full resolution. Enable 'Include inactive areas' to include feedback from deactivated areas.
Area Feedback Detail
Reports > Public Scan Reports > Area Feedback Detail
This report shows area feedback submitted across all areas within the chosen date range. Images and/or comments added to feedback are accessed from the Actions column.
FAQ
Question: Can I change the Feedback page layout, such as removing the ability to add comments or attach photos?
Answer: No, the page layout cannot be changed.
