Time entries can be imported via spreadsheet. This can be used to import existing time entries from other software.
Downloading the Import Spreadsheet
- Go to Reports > Time > Timecard.
- Click Download Import Spreadsheet.
- Save and open the file.
- The file will be prepopulated with sample data.
Filling Out the Spreadsheet
- Fill out the spreadsheet and save the file. Multiple lines can be added.
Employee ID and Location must be an exact match.
In/Out Dates are formatted as MM/DD/YYYY (ex. 01/31/2025).
In/Out Times are in 24-hour (military) time, formatted as HH:MM:SS (ex. 16:30:00).
- Employee ID - Employee Ref. ID, found on Employee Maintenance.
- Location - The time entry's location name.
- In Date - The clock-in date.
- In Time - The clock-in timestamp.
- Out Date - The clock-out date.
- Out Time - The clock-out timestamp.
Retain the apostrophe (') in front of values in columns C through F.
Uploading the Spreadsheet
- Go to Reports > Time > Timecard.
- Click Upload Import.
- Choose your import file and click Open.
- A new file will download. Open the file to view the results.
- Green rows were successful.

Red rows were unsuccessful. The reason will be listed in the Error column. Correct any issues before reimporting the rows.
Time entries created using the import are tagged Web Entry.
