Accessing Settings
Only users with the Account Manager security setting can access account settings.
To access account settings:
- From the portal site, navigate to the Gear icon > Manage Account.
- Select the Settings tab.
Remove Password Complexity
Enabling this switch allows employee passwords to only require 1 character, which is helpful for companies preferring short PIN logins.
Use Default Email Sender Address
When enabled, all email notifications generated by Janitorial Manager will be sent from notifications@janitorialmanager.com.
When not enabled, certain email notifications are sent from the company owner's address. We strongly recommend enabling this setting to prevent email notifications from being deferred by the recipient's email service.
Shorten Work Order Invoice Numbers
When enabled, work order auto-generated invoice numbers are shortened from 20 to 10 characters.
The example below shows two auto-generated work order invoice numbers.
Regular length invoice #: INV-125844331-335661
Shortened invoice #: INV-335669
Export Work Order Invoices for QBD
Enables the QuickBooks Desktop IIF export option for work orders. This allows invoices to be imported as transactions into QBD.
Hide Area Usage
Hides the 'In Use' status and 'Last Used' dates on pages related to areas.
Employee Initials on Area Status
When enabled, employee initials will replace full names on the Area Status screen. This prevents full employee names from being exposed to the public.
