Different employees may need varying levels of access to Janitorial Manager. By adjusting an employee's Security Settings, you can allow, adjust, or deny access to each feature.
Users need to be given either the Employee or Manager User Type.
Managers can perform tasks on JM Connect such as adding and deleting schedules and Work Orders, approving Supply Requests, and viewing certain Client information.

Editing Security Settings
- Go to Employees > Manage Employees.
- Click the Edit pencil on an employee.
- Open the User Settings tab.
- Click Portal Security.
- Adjust the checkboxes in each section to manage that employee's access to the system.
- Enabling a Manager-level setting will automatically enable the Reader-level setting.
- Click Save to confirm changes.
Security Setting Details
AccountAccount Manager - The Janitorial Manager account holder has this automatically selected. This grants access to Settings > Manage Account. Account Managers can view and edit the account's billing information, Timekeeping settings, integrations, languages, subscription information, and more (depending on the features available to the account). |

ScorecardScorecard Manager - Users will be able to see company profits and losses. They will also be able to edit financial details about the company. It is recommended that only account owners have access to this feature. Scorecard Reader - Grants read-only access to the Scorecard. |

Quality ChecksQuality Check Manager - Users can add, edit, and delete Quality Checks. Quality Check Reader - Read-only access to Quality Check features. Dashboard Reader - Allows access to the Quality Check Dashboard. |

Inventory (Supply Tracking)Inventory Manager - Users will be able to add, edit, and delete supply items. They can also make changes to quantities and fulfill incoming supply requests. Inventory Reader - Grants read-only access to supply items and quantities. |

Inventory (Inventory Management System)These settings are available if the Inventory Management System (IMS) feature has been turned on for the account. Inventory Manager - Grants full access to IMS. Inventory Reader - Grants read-only access to IMS. Hide Stock Area - Removes Stock Area tab within IMS. Hide Supply Request - Removes Supply Request tab within IMS. Hide Supply Order - Removes Supply Order tab within IMS. Hide Supply Usage - Removes Supply Usage tab within IMS. Hide Reconciliation - Removes the Reconciliation tab within IMS. Hide Report - Removes Reports tab within IMS. Hide Setting - Removes Settings tab within IMS. The user will not be able to add new supply items, suppliers, or branches. The user will also not be able to see Email History. |

ChecklistChecklist Manager - Users can add, edit, and delete Global, Location, and Work Order checklists. Checklist Reader - Grants read-only access to all instances of checklists (Global, Location, and Work Orders). Checklist Readers are unable to add, edit, or delete checklists. |

Work ManagementWork Order Manager - Users can add, edit, and delete Work Orders. Work Order Reader - Grants read-only access to Work Orders. Hide Financial Information - Hides the service fee, supply costs, and employee pay rates associated with a Work Order. |

LocationsLocation Manager - Users can add, edit, and delete location information. This user will also have access to income generated from clients, contact information, Customer Portal, checklists, and Geofence parameters. Location Managers can also add, edit, and delete Schedules and Services. Location Reader - Grants read-only access to the Location Details screen. The user will see Location and Client messages, schedules, and instructions for Locations. Hide Location Budgets - Hides budget information for locations. Can be applied to both Manager and Reader levels. Hide Location Contacts - Hides contact information for locations. Can be applied to both Manager and Reader levels. Area Manager - Users can access add, edit, and delete Areas and Area Types, as well as view Area-related (QR Code and NFC) reports. Dashboard Reader - Read-only access to client and employee schedule dashboards. |

Employee PerformanceThe Employee Performance feature is utilized to track attendance, performance, and credit employees with awards. Performance Manager - Allows the user to add employee awards and incidents from the Employee Details page. Managers can also conduct Employee Performance Reviews. Performance Reader - Grants read-only access to employee awards, incidents, and performance reviews. |

EmployeesEmployee Managers - Users can add, edit, and delete employee information. The user will also have access to usernames, passwords, and security settings. Employee Reader - Users have read-only access to employee contact information, wages, performance awards, incidents, and reviews. Audit Log Reader - Access to the Employee Audit Log (Reports > Employees > Employee Audit Log). Hide Employee Pay Rates - This can be applied to both Manager and Reader levels. If selected, the user will not be able to pull payroll reports. |

TimekeeperTimeKeeper Managers can decline/approve time punches, edit existing time punches, and access various reports associated with TimeKeeping. TimeKeeper Reader - Grants read-only access to timeKeeper features. Users with this selected can still see employee time by going to Customers > Location Details > Time. Hide TimeKeeper Reports - Removes user access to TimeKeeping reports. Hide Location Time - Removes user access to employee time from the Location Details page. |

CalculatorsBid Calculator – Enables the Bidding Tool, a calculator that includes proposal progress and templates. Work Loading Admin - Grants full access to the Work Loading 2.0 tool. Work Loading Manager - Grants partial access to the Work Loading 2.0 tool. The user will only have access to the Location, Saved Calculator, and Routine Hours tabs within the tool. Work Loading User - Grants minimal access to the Work Loading 2.0 tool. The user will only have access to the Location, Saved Calculator, and Routine Hours tabs. However, they can only see the information they added themselves. |

Equipment Tracking System (ETS)ETS Manager - Users can manage equipment, maintenance requests, and warranties, and approve or deny equipment maintenance, allocation, or transfer requests. ETS Reader - Grants read-only access. |
