Messages on JM Connect
JM Connect allows chat within the three messages sections. Location Messages, Employee Messages, and Client Messages. Location and Clent message sections are broken down by location, so employees must be marked as trained in the location in order to view the location's messages. When a message comes through on JM Connect, there will be a red number indicated on the app, as well as next to the location the message is linked to inside the app.
Location Messages
The Location Messages option allows for location-specific chats between Employees and Managers based on locations they have been trained on. No customers will have access to this chat. All Employees and Managers trained in the location will see all the messages sent here.
Employee Messages
The Employee Messages option allows Employees and Managers that are trained in mutual locations to message one-on-one. No customers will have access to this chat.
Client Messages
The Client Messages option provides Clients and Managers with access to location-specific chats. Client Messages are only available to Managers marked trained in those locations. Clients are able to download the JM Connect app and use Client Messages to communicate with you.
Deleting Messages
You can delete a location or client message from the chat by logging into the web portal and navigating to Customers > Location Details. Select the location from the dropdown and locate either the Location Messages or Client Messages tab. You will see an X next to a message. Click the X to delete the message from the chat.
*You are unable to delete Employee Messages in both the portal and JM Connect
