Time Off on JM Connect
Time Off can easily be requested and approved using the JM Connect mobile app.

Enabling Time Off on JM Connect
Access to Time Off on JM Connect is managed through Security Groups.
- Navigate to Employees > Manage Security Group.
- Select the Edit Pencil in the Actions column for an existing Security Group, or select + Add Group.
- In the Timekeeping section, enable the desired icons for that group.
- My Time Off - Allows users to submit time off requests.
- Manage Time Off - Allows managers to view, approve, or decline time off requests.
- Select Save Changes to update the group.
Requesting Time Off
- On JM Connect, select the My Time Off icon.
- Select the + (Plus) in the top right-hand corner.
- Add the required information:
- Type: Unpaid Time Off, Paid Time Off, Sick Leave, or Holiday Pay.
- Time or Hours: Choosing Time allows the user to select the specific time range they will be taking Time Off. Selecting Hours allows users to add the amount of Time Off hours they would like to use, and the date they will take it on.
- Reason (optional): Allows the user to add a note regarding the Time Off request. This note is visible to the user approving time off.
- Select the + Add More button to add multiple Time Off requests at once, as needed.
- Select Submit to create the Time Off request. The request will remain in the Pending status until it has been approved or rejected.
Editing and Deleting Time Off Requests
To edit requests:
- On JM Connect, select the My Time Off icon.
- Select the Edit button for the desired request.
- Edit the information, as needed.
- Select Submit to save changes.
To delete requests:
- On JM Connect, select the My Time Off icon.
- Select the Delete button for the desired request.
- Confirm that you are attempting to delete the request.
- The Time Off request will be removed.
New Time Off Request Notification
When users submit a new Time Off request, those who have access to the Manage Time Off icon on JM Connect will receive a notification.
Approving Time Off
- On JM Connect, select the Manage Time Off icon.
- Requests in the Pending status require action. Select the Approve button to confirm the request. To deny a request, select Reject.
- Selecting the 'i' icon on a request will show any notes regarding the request, if available.
- The filter icon in the top right-hand corner can be used to sort the requests by type, status, or date range.
