Scheduling Quality Checks
Quality Checks can be created as one-time or recurring events.
Scheduling Quality Checks
Quality checks can be scheduled from the web portal or JM Connect.
- Go to Inspections > Manage Quality Checks.
- Click + Add Quality Check.
- Fill in the information. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk (*).
- Scheduled Quality Check Date* - The date that the Quality Check is scheduled to be completed.
- Customer & Location* - The site of the Quality Check.
- On Demand - If enabled, inspectors can select which areas they will inspect once they begin the Quality Check.

Client Area - The area(s) that will receive the Quality Check. If no areas are selected, all Client Areas for the chosen location will be selected as a default. Client Areas determine the checklist associated with the Quality Check.
Areas must be created for a location before they can be selected in the dropdown. Click here to learn more about creating Areas. - Inspection Type* - General or open.
- Inspector* - The employee conducting the Quality Check. Employees must be marked as Trained on a location to be added as the Inspector.
- Rating Scale* - The scale that the inspector will use to grade the Quality Check.

Scoring Scale* - The scale used to calculate the overall score for the Quality Check. If the Scoring Scale has a Follow-up fail action, the fields below will become optional.
- Service Level Agreement - If selected, any follow-up work orders will have this SLA attached.
- SLA Recipient(s) - If the SLA is violated, these recipients will receive an email alert. Multiple addresses can be added (comma-separated).
- Job Class - The work order will be open for any user with the selected Job Class.
- Employee - The work order will be assigned to the selected employee.
- Click Save to add the Quality Check.
Recurring Quality Checks
Recurring quality checks can be used to schedule any repeating inspections.
- Go to Inspections > Manage Quality Checks.
- Open the Recurring subtab.
- Click + Add Recurring Quality Check.
- Add the required information.
- Choose monthly or weekly and fill in the information.
- Click Save to generate the recurring Quality Check.
The recurring module runs nightly at 1 AM (EST). The first quality check in the series is created immediately.
- 45 days of weekly recurring QCs are generated after the Start Date.
- 60 days of monthly recurring QCs are generated after the Start Date.
Monthly Quality Checks
Selecting Monthly allows Quality Checks to be generated monthly.
- Choose the monthly recurrence. 'Recur every 1 month' will create a Quality Check every month, 'Recur every 6 months' will be twice a year, and so on.
- The Start Date will be the date of the first occurrence. The Quality Check will generate on that date each month it is set to occur.
- End Date is the last instance of the recurring Quality Check. The Quality Check will no longer generate after this date.
- If No End Date is selected, the Quality Check will generate indefinitely until the Recurring Quality Check has been deleted.
Weekly Quality Checks
Selecting Weekly allows Quality Checks to be generated weekly.
- Choose the weekly occurrence. 'Recur ever 1 week' will create Quality Checks every week, 'Recur every 2 weeks' will be biweekly, and so on.
- Choose the day(s) of the week the Quality Check will occur.
- The Start Date will be the date of the first occurrence.
- End Date is the last instance of the recurring Quality Check. The Quality Check will no longer generate after this date.
- If No End Date is selected, the Quality Check will generate indefinitely until the Recurring Quality Check has been deleted.
Editing Quality Checks
Editing Individual Quality Checks
- Navigate to Inspections > Manage Quality Checks.
- Select the Edit Pencil in the Actions column for the desired Quality Check.
- Edit the information, then select Save to confirm.
Editing Recurring Quality Checks
- Navigate to Inspections > Manage Quality Checks.
- Selecting the Recurring subtab.
- Select the Edit Pencil for the desired recurring Quality Check.
- Edit the information then select Save.
