Rating and Scoring Scales for Quality Checks allow your company's inspections to be flexible and personalized.  Feel free to use and modify any of the presets below for your company's use.

Choosing the Best Fit

Rating Scales are how inspectors grade an area, and Scoring Scales are how the overall Quality Check is graded.

Many of the presets below offer flexibility in their setup.  Janitorial Manager encourages you to make edits to titles, values, passing marks, and more until you are satisfied with your setup.

Tip: Still unsure of what would work best for your company? Your Account Manager can help choose scales that are right for you and your employees.

Rating Scales

1. Navigate to Inspections > Manage Rating Scales.
2. Select the Add Rating button to add a new scale.

Pass/Fail

Title: Pass/Fail

Type: Option

Option Type: Percentage

# of Options: 2

Three-Point Scale

Title: Three-Point Scale

Type: Option

Option Type: Number or Percentage

# of Options: 3

1 to 10

Title: 1 to 10

Type: Number

Min: 1

Max:  10

Passing Marks: 7

Tip: The Min and Max on a Number type scale can be adjusted to best fit your needs.  This same setup can be used to rate 1 to 5, 0 to 100, and so on.

Scoring Scales

1. Navigate to Inspections > Manage Scoring Scales.
2. Select the Add Scoring button to add a new scale.

Tip: Scoring Scales can be adjusted to make the results more or less strict. Try editing your scales to find what is best for your company.
