Unpunched schedules can be edited or deleted at any time.
Publishing and Unpublishing Schedules
Schedules can either be published or drafted. This action can only be performed on the web portal.
- Drafted schedules are not visible to users on the My Schedules or Manage Schedules icons in JM Connect and do not generate alerts/notifications.
- Published schedules are visible to assigned users on JM Connect and generate alerts/notifications.
Publishing Schedules
- Go to Customers > Manage Schedules.
- On the Schedules tab, select the checkbox on any drafted schedule you'd like to publish.
- Multiple schedules can be selected at a time.
- Select Publish Schedule to publish any selected schedules, or select the Publish button in the Actions column to publish an individual schedule.
Unpublishing Schedules
- Go to Customers > Manage Schedules.
- On the Schedules tab, select the checkbox on any published schedule you'd like to draft.
- Multiple schedules can be selected at a time.
- Click Unpublish Schedule to draft any selected schedules.
Editing Schedules
Punched schedules cannot be edited.
- Go to Customers > Manage Schedules.
- On the Schedules tab, select the Edit Pencil in the Actions column.
- Update any details, then select Publish to promote changes.
- Schedule details will be updated immediately.
Editing Recurring Schedules
- Go to Customers > Manage Schedules.
- On the Recurring tab, select the Edit Pencil in the Actions column.
- Update any details, then select Publish to promote changes.
- Publishing changes on a recurring schedule will immediately update any unpunched individual schedules.
Changing Assigned Employee
The employee assigned to a schedule can be updated at any time.
- From the web portal, go to Customers > Manage Schedules.
- On the Schedules tab, select the Edit Pencil in the Actions column.
- Select the Include Employee checkbox.
- Once selected, select the X button in the Action column to remove any assigned employee.
- To add an employee, select the user from the Employee dropdown.
- Once selected, select the X button in the Action column to remove any assigned employee.
- Select Publish to promote changes.
Deleting Schedules
Punched schedules cannot be deleted.
- Go to Customers > Manage Schedules.
- On the Schedules tab, click the X in the Actions column.
- After confirming the action, the schedule will be deleted immediately.
Deleting Recurring Schedules
- Go to Customers > Manage Schedules.
- On the Recurring tab, click the X in the Actions column.
- After confirming the action, the recurring schedule will be deleted.
Employee Notifications
Employees receive push notifications when published schedules have been edited or deleted. Schedule notifications are available from the Bell icon on JM Connect.
Users do not receive a push notification if a recurring schedule has been edited or deleted.
Edited Schedule
Assigned employees immediately receive this alert when a published schedule has been edited.
Deleted Schedule
Assigned employees immediately receive this alert when a published schedule has been deleted.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Question: Why did I receive this message when updating a schedule: 'the system is busy, please try again in a few minutes'?
Answer: The message appears when an update is already in progress on the backend. Wait a few moments and try again.
