Late In/Early Out Alerts
Managers can be notified when an employee clocks in late or clocks out early for a scheduled shift.

On Portal
- On the portal site, navigate to Customers > Manage Schedule.
- Add a new schedule or click the Edit Pencil in the Actions column for an existing schedule.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Enable the checkboxes for Late In Alert, Late Out Alert, or both.
- Once the alert has been enabled, select the related minutes. Select Custom to enter a unique value.
- The Late In alert is triggered if an employee clocks in Xmins after their scheduled start time.
- The Early Out alert is triggered if an employee clocks out Xmins prior to their scheduled end time.
- Save the schedule as a Draft or Publish the changes.
In the example below, managers would receive a notification if the employee clocked in 10 minutes past their scheduled start time, or clocked out 15 minutes prior to their scheduled end time.
On JM Connect
- On JM Connect, select the Manage Schedule icon.
- Add a new schedule or edit an existing schedule.
- Enable the checkboxes for Late In Alert, Early Out Alert, or both.
- Once the alert has been enabled, select the related minutes. Select Custom to enter a unique value.
- The Late In alert is triggered if an employee clocks in Xmins after their scheduled start time.
- The Early Out alert is triggered if an employee clocks out Xmins prior to their scheduled end time.
- Select Save to update the schedule.
Notifications on JM Connect
When Late In/Early Out alerts are triggered, Managers trained on the location will receive a push notification on JM Connect. These alerts are also visible from the Alerts icon.
Managers receive the alert >3 minutes after it has been triggered.

Setting Up Email Notifications
Late In/Early Out alerts can be received through email. This must be set up per location. Emails are sent from support@janitorialmanager.com.
- On the portal site, navigate to Customers > Manage Locations.
- Select the Edit Pencil in the Actions for the desired location.
- Under Notification Recipient Email Addresses, add a primary email email address.
- Secondary addresses are optional, and will be CC'd on the email.
- Save the page to confirm changes.
