What is Weighted Scoring?
Weighted Scoring assigns different levels of importance (weightage) to inspection items or tasks, rather than treating them all equally. Critical items can be given higher weights, so failing them has a greater impact on the overall score than failing lower-priority items.
This setting may be useful if...
- You have inspection tasks related to safety or compliance that are prioritized over minor issues.
- Certain tasks are valued more than others due to being in high-traffic or high-visibility areas.

Adding Task Weights
Task weight can be assigned to both area types and individual areas.
Weightage multiplier the task's Rating Scale value, where x1 is the baseline. Tasks with higher weight have a greater impact on the overall inspection score.
For example, a failed task with a weight of x3 will impact the inspection more than a passing task with a weight of x1.

Task weightage is automatically applied to the final score once the inspection is marked as Completed.
