Completing Quality Checks
Quality Checks can be completed and reviewed from the desktop.
Completing Quality Checks
- Navigate to Inspections > Manage Quality Checks.
- Select the Play icon in the Actions column to begin the Quality Check.
- Select Show Steps for the desired area.
- Select the box that corresponds to the desired score to rate the step.
- Hover over the Info icon next to a step name to view the description.
- Selecting the Note icon will allow a note to be added to the step.
- Hover over the Info icon next to a step name to view the description.
- Once steps across all areas have been given a rating, select Complete Quality Check at the top of the page.
- Optionally, add an overall note. Select Complete Quality Check.
- Once the Quality Check has been completed, selecting the Calculator icon will show a breakdown of the score.
Actions
Play / Start
The Play icon will begin the Quality Check.
View (Magnifying Glass)
The Magnifying Glass icon appears after the Quality Check has been completed. Selecting it shows rating and score information.
Delete
Selecting the X icon will delete the Quality Check. This action cannot be undone.
Selecting this icon will generate a printable Quality Check summary. This summary includes information such as:
- The date performed
- The name of the inspector
- The final score
- Individual step scores
- Photos attached to steps
- Step notes
- Company logo
Selecting this icon will allow the Quality Check summary to be emailed to the client, employees, or both. The summary is sent to the primary email address associated with the client/employee(s).
Emails will be sent on behalf of notifications@janitorialmanager.com.
Images
Selecting this icon will show any images that were attached to the Quality Check, and includes the Area and Step attached.
Signatures
The Signature icon shows any signatures that were added to the Quality Check, and includes the Title and Name.
Tag Employees
Employees that cleaned or serviced the inspected Areas can be tagged on the Quality Check. Tagging employees will show their average performance score on the Employee QC Performance report.
Only employees marked as Trained on the location can be tagged.
To tag an employee from the web:
- Navigate to Inspections > Manage Quality Checks.
- Select the Tag Employee icon in the Actions column.
- Select + Assign on an employee.
Status History
Selecting the Status History icon will show timestamps for each time an action was performed on a Quality Check. This includes changing the Quality Check's status and rating tasks.
