Adding Files to Locations
To be accessible in the Customer Portal, files must be available at the Location level.
Files can be associated or directly added to locations.
Enabling File Storage in Customer Portal
File Storage must be enabled at the Location level for files to be available via Customer Portal.
- Go to Customers > Manage Locations.
- Click the Edit Pencil in the Actions column for a location.
- Open the Portal subtab.
- Enable the File Storage feature.
Assigning Files to Customer Portal
Only files with Customer Portal Access will be visible to customers.
- Go to Customers > Manage Locations.
- Click the Edit Pencil in the Actions column for a location.
- Open the File subtab.
- Enable 'Customer Portal Access' on a file.
- The page will save automatically.
Viewing Files in Customer Portal
Files with Customer Portal Access are instantly available within Customer Portal.
- Log into your Customer Portal.
- In the navigation menu, click File Storage.
- Any files with Customer Portal Access assigned to the location will be available for download.
Customers see the following details per file:
- File Name
- Description
- Type
- Size
- Created Date
