Completing Work Orders
Work Orders can be completed from the portal site and JM Connect.

Statuses
- New - Not available on JM Connect; cannot be completed.
- Scheduled - Becomes available to employees once the Earliest Start Date is reached.
- In Progress - Started but not completed.
- Completed - Marked as completed via JM Connect or web.
- Invoiced - Marked as invoiced on the web.
- Invoice Paid - Marked as paid on the web.
Completing Work Orders
Work orders can be completed from web or JM Connect.
- Go to Work Management > Manage Work Orders.
- Click the Edit Pencil for a scheduled or in-progress work order.
- Click the Actions tab.
- Confirm the Performed On date, then click Complete Work Order.
Invoicing Work Orders
- Go to Work Management > Manage Work Orders.
- Click the Edit Pencil for a completed work order.
- Click the Actions tab.
- Select Mark Work Order Invoiced.
Bulk Invoicing
The Bulk Invoice option marks all Completed work orders scheduled within a date range as Invoiced.
- Go to Work Management > Manage Work Orders.
- Adjust the Scheduled Start and End Dates, then click Refresh.
- Select Bulk Invoice and confirm the prompt.
- Do not leave or refresh the page while it loads.
Generating Invoice
Work Order invoices are available for any Work Order outside the New status.
- Go to Work Management > Manage Work Orders.
- Select the Invoice icon in the Actions column.
- The invoice will open in a new tab.
Generating Summary
Work Order Summaries can be generated anytime after creation and include location and contact details, assigned employees, supplies, signatures, remarks, and photos.
- On Work Order Maintenance, click the Summary icon.
- The summary will open in a new tab.
Emailing Work Order Summary
Work Order Summaries can be emailed to clients or employees at any status. By default, summaries are sent from the account owner's email address.
- On Work Order Maintenance, click the Email icon.
- Choose the recipients.
- Multiple employees can be selected.
- Selecting Send to Client will send the Summary to the location's primary contact.
- Click Send to email the summary.
Viewing Remarks
Remarks can be added to work orders from JM Connect.
- On Work Order Maintenance, click the Remarks icon in the Actions column. If absent, no remarks were added.
Viewing Media
The Media icon appears in the Actions column if images or videos are attached. Click to view.
Media can also be viewed from the Images subtab.
- Click the Edit Pencil for a work order.
- Open the Images subtab.
Notifications for Completed Work Orders
Users can receive completion alerts for billable work orders to know when to invoice. Enable this setting in Employee Maintenance.
- Go to Employees > Manage Employees.
- Click the Edit Pencil for the desired employee.
- Under General information, enabled Receive Work Order Completion Alert.
- Save the page to confirm changes.
