Managers can add, edit, and delete Work Orders on JM Connect. Work Orders can help manage special tasks and projects for your customers and employees.

Creating New Work Orders
- Open the Work Orders icon on JM Connect.
- Tap the + icon in the top righthand corner.
- Fill in the required information. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
- Tap Save to add the work order.
- The work order is created in the New status. It will be unavailable to employees until scheduling is completed.

Customer and Location* - Which customer and location you are assigning the Work Order to. Select Checklist - This allows you to add a checklist to the Work Order. Due Date and Scheduled Time* - When the Work Order should be completed. Earliest Start Date* - When the Work Order becomes available to assigned employees. Select Type* - Service, Supply, or Equipment. Select Service Type* - If Service chosen as type, choose the service. Select SLA* - Specified recipients can receive email alerts if the work order is not completed within the service level agreement's timeframe. Billable - This can be selected if you want to keep track of Work Orders that need to be invoiced. Work Description* - A brief description of the job. This is visible to both employees. |
Assigning Employees
Multiple employees can be added to work orders.
- On the Work Orders screen, swipe left on a work order to show additional icons.
- Tap the Calendar icon, then tap Assign Employee.
- Choose the desired employee, their Job Class, wage, and estimated hours.
- Tap Add Employee to add that person to the Work Order. Repeat as needed.
Assigning Supply Items
If there are supply items added within your account, those items can be assigned to Work Orders.
- On the Work Orders screen, swipe left on a work order.
- Tap the Calendar icon, then tap Add Supply Item.
- Choose a supply item from the dropdown.
- Only supplies assigned to the location will appear in the list.
- Adjust the Quantity of the items.
- Tap Add Supply to add the item to the Work Order.
Scheduling Work Orders
Work Orders need to be Scheduled before they have the chance to be available to assigned employees.
- On the Work Orders screen, swipe left on a work order, then tap the Calendar icon.
- Tap Complete Scheduling.
