Scheduling Work Orders
Employees must be added to a work order's Labor Cost to access it. Click here for more information on scheduling work orders.
Completing Work Orders from the Timeclock
Employees must clock into a location and access the work order from the Timeclock screen to properly document their time.
- On JM Connect, select the Clock In/Out icon.
- Select Clock In, then clock into a location.
- The location must have a scheduled work order.
Starting a Work Order
- Select the Clock In/Out icon.
- Select the Work Order tab at the bottom of the Time Clock screen.
- Tap the work order.
- Select Start to begin the work order.
Completing a Work Order

- Select the Work Order tab at the bottom of the Time Clock screen.

Reports
Work Order Job Costing Reports
Work Order Job Costing reports will show the employee's actual hours as the labor cost. If actual hours are not available, the report will show the estimated hours by default.
Marking a work order as Invoiced will send data to this report.
Best Practices
Since users need to complete Work Orders from the Timeclock (Clock in/out) screen, we suggest disabling the My Work Orders icon if you plan on using this feature. This will only allow work orders to be started and completed after the employee clocks into a location.
Icon visibility on JM Connect can be managed using security groups.
