Work Orders on JM Connect
Work Orders can be completed from JM Connect.

Accessing Work Orders
Work Orders can be accessed in a few different ways from JM Connect.
Time Clock ScreenWhen an employee clocks in, any assigned work orders for that location will appear at the bottom of the screen. |

My Work OrdersUsers can access Work Orders that have been assigned to them from the My Work Orders icon. |

Work Orders (Managers)Managers can add, edit, delete, and complete Work Orders from the Work Orders icon. |
Completing Work Orders
- On JM Connect, access the Work Order from the Time Clock or My Work Order screen.
- Any Work Orders that have been assigned to the employee will appear in this list.
- The Open Work Order tab shows any Work Orders that can be claimed. Claiming the Work Order will add it to the My Work Order tab.
- Selecting the Work Order will open the Work Order Detail screen. From here, employees can see:
General Information - The Customer and requester name, earliest start date, and due date.
Service Description - General details of the scheduled service.
Work Description - Details specific to the work order.
Checklist (Optional) - If a checklist has been added to the Work Order, selecting View will open the checklist.
Supplies (Optional) - Lists the supply items that have been added to the Work Order.
Comments (Optional) - Employees can leave a comment, as needed. Click the Info icon to view previous comments.
- Sap Start to begin the Work Order.
- If attached, tapping Start will automatically open the checklist.
Attached checklists must be completed before a Work Order can be completed.
- If attached, tapping Start will automatically open the checklist.
- Tap Complete to finish the work order.
Adding Images
Images can be added to Work Orders before they have been marked as Complete.
- On JM Connect, select a work order from the My Work Orders icon.
- Select the Image icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- On the Work Order Pictures screen, select the + (Plus).
- Choosing Camera will open the device's camera, and choosing Photo will open the device's image gallery.
- After taking/selecting a photo, specify it was taken before or after the service, and add an optional remark.
- Selecting Save will add the photo to the Work Order. Multiple photos can be added.
Adding Videos
Videos can be added to Work Orders before they have been marked as Complete.
- On JM Connect, select a Work Order from the My Work Orders icon.
- Select the Video icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- On the Work Order Videos screen, select the + (Plus).
- Choosing Camera will open the device's camera, and choosing Photo will open the device's video gallery.
- After recording/selecting a photo, specify it was taken before or after the service, and add an optional remark.
- Selecting Save will add the video to the Work Order.
Work Order Notifications
Employees have a Bell icon in the upper right-hand corner of JM Connect where they will receive notifications for work orders when:
- A new work order is assigned
- An existing work order is edited
- An existing work order is deleted
- An open work order is available to be claimed
Digital Signature
Signatures can be added from Work Orders or My Work Orders. One signature can be added per work order.
Work Orders
- On JM Connect, tap Work Orders.
- Swipe left on a scheduled or in-progress work order and tap the Checkmark.
- Tap Signature.
- Add the title and name of the signee. The signature can be drawn using your finger or stylus.
- Tap Accept.
My Work Orders
- On JM Connect, tap My Work Orders.
- Open a scheduled or in-progress work order.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap Add Signature.
- Add the title and name of the signee. The signature can be drawn using your finger or stylus.
- Tap Accept.
Emailing Work Order Summaries
Work Order Summaries can be emailed directly from JM Connect.
- In JM Connect, select the Work Orders or My Work Orders icon.
- Swipe left on a work order to view more options.
- Select the Email (envelope) icon.
- Select who the summary should be emailed to.
- Employees - Sends the summary to the selected employee's email address(es).
- Other Email - Sends the summary to the entered email address.
- Send to Client - Sends the summary to the Location's Primary Contact email address.
- Select Send.
View Work Orders by Status: New, Scheduled, In Progress, & Completed
To see a list of all your Work Orders in a specific status, navigate to the My Work Orders icon.
- Tap the Search icon in the upper right corner.
- Tap on the Select Work Order Status box.
- In the pop-up menu, choose an option to filter by.
- New
- Scheduled
- In Progress
- Completed
- The list will now only show Work Orders that are in the chosen Status.
- To change the view, tap the Search icon again.
- Choose another Status or click Clear to revert the list back to the normal view.
