Equipment in ETS
To access the Equipment Tracking System (ETS), navigate to Tools > Equipment Tracking System.

Adding Equipment
- In ETS, open the Equipment tab.
- Click + New Equipment.
- Fill out the equipment details. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
- Select Save to add the equipment.
Equipment Fields
Basic Details
- Location Type* - Specifies if equipment is stored at a location or internal branch.
- Customer* - Customer associated with the storage location.
- Location* - Current storage location.
- Stock Area* - Specific stock area within the location.
- Allocation* - Assigned employee.
- Item #* - Internal identification number.

Equipment Name* - Name of the equipment.
- Equipment names can be duplicates if the Serial and Item Numbers differ.
- Serial Number* -Serial or barcode identifier.
- Equipment Type* - Primary function (e.g., burnisher, pressure washer, fan).
- Weight* - Light (0-25 lbs), Medium (26-50 lbs), Heavy (51-100 lbs), Extra Heavy (100+ lbs).
- Manufacturer* - Manufacturer name.
- Manufacturer’s Warranty Expiration Date - Date the warranty expires.
- Notes - Additional details.
Purchase Details
- Date of Purchase* - Date the equipment was purchased.
- Purchase Condition* - New, used, or refurbished.
- Supplier - Equipment purchase source.
The supplier list is pulled from the Inventory Management System.
- Purchase Price* - Price of the equipment upon purchase.
- Delivery Price - Cost to deliver the equipment after purchase.
Usage Details
- Usage Capacity - The maximum number/amount associated with the capacity's unit of measure.
- Usage Capacity UOM - The unit of measure for the equipment's capacity.
Example: The Usage Capacity UOM on an industrial sprayer may be the unit of measure for the tank (gallons, liters, etc.).
If an industrial sprayer has a 3-gallon tank, the Usage Capacity would be 3, and the Usage Capacity UOM would be Gallon.
Product Images
Up to three images can be added. These images are visible from JM Connect.
Editing Equipment
- In ETS, select the Equipment tab.
- Select the Edit Pencil in the Actions column for a piece of equipment.
- Edit the desired fields, then select Save to update the equipment.
Deactivating Equipment
Deactivated equipment cannot be accessed by employees from JM Connect.
- From within ETS, select the Equipment tab.
- Select the Trash Can icon in the Actions column for a piece of equipment.
Printing QR Codes
Equipment is accessed on JM Connect by scanning its QR code. QR codes can be printed individually or in bulk in these formats:
- 1" x 1"
- 2" x 2"
- 2" x 1"
Printing Individual QRs
- In ETS, go to the Equipment tab.
- Click the Edit Pencil in the Action column for a piece of equipment.
- In the QR Code section, choose a QR Code Size from the dropdown.
- Click Print QR Code.
Bulk Printing QRs
- In ETS, go to the Equipment tab.
- Next to the Print QR Code button, choose a size from the dropdown.
- Click Print QR Codes.
