Pushing payroll to Accounting records employee labor as individual transactions.

Sending Payroll to Accounting
Pushing a payroll cycle to Accounting creates individual employee timecard transactions at the Account level, all sharing the same Expense Type, memo, reference number, and payroll method.
- On the web portal, go to Gear icon > Payroll > Manage Payroll.
- Choose an Expense Type for payroll labor costs. Only Overhead Expense Types will be listed.
- In the Accounting Sync column, click Send to Accounting on a processed payroll cycle.
- Fill in the information.
- Memo - A short description of the transaction.
- Reference Number - A reference number associated with the transaction.

Payment Method - The payment method used to payout employee labor.
- Select Save to push the payroll data to the Accounting feature.

After pushing to Accounting, the Accounting Sync button is replaced with the submission date.

Viewing Payroll Transactions
- Go to the Gear icon > Manage Account.
- Select the Accounting tab.
- Select the Transactions subtab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to view transactions.
- The Payment Date for labor transactions will be the same as the employee's timecard (clock-in) date.
